Meet Holly

Attorney Accelerator is lead by Holly Naylor, a legal marketing strategist with more than 20 years of marketing and public relations experience, with more than 15 of those years in legal marketing specifically.

Holly is the daughter of Long Beach-based maritime personal injury attorney Charles D. Naylor, which means she has been immersed in the legal world since birth.

Holly graduated from Arizona State University with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism. She worked as a TV and newspaper reporter immediately after college in Lawrence, Kansas. She made the transition to marketing and public relations in 2005 with a move down to Oklahoma City working for the Oklahoma Pork Council helping them craft a strategy around some upcoming legislation impacting local agriculture. In 2007 Holly moved back home to sunny California working at Idea Hall, a marketing/PR agency specializing in commercial real estate. The housing market crash of 2008 made this a particularly interesting time to be working in this sector to say the least. However it was time that proved the power of a solid marketing a PR strategy, witnessing first hand that the companies willing to keep their marketing budgets in tact are the ones that are still standing today.

It was while working at Idea Hall, Holly had her first taste of legal marketing and working for her father. In 2007 the Law Offices of Charles D. Naylor, along with a large wrongful death law firm, represented the widow of a longshore worker in a wrongful death claim against then DaimlerChrysler. The case went to trial and the jury came back with a big verdict: $55.2 million in combined damages. Without question it was the biggest jury verdict of Mr. Naylor’s career, without any PR strategy to promote it. The large wrongful death law firm did however, and they immediately put out a press release downplaying Mr. Naylor’s role in the case and spelled his name wrong. After receiving a panicked call from her mother while at work, that day, the Law Offices of Charles D. Naylor became Holly’s first legal client. The next day a press release was distributed on behalf of the firm which lead to an Associate Press article which circulated nationwide.

2010 she had the opportunity to join her father’s firm as Director of Marketing and Public Relations. There she immediately went to create a new brand identity and online presence, including new website and logo. Holly took over the intake process in 2013 which increased conversion rates and outbound referral revenue.

When she isn’t working at her computer, Holly is also a skilled cake decorator and runs her own custom cake business, Cakes By HollyK. And she is a solo parent to her 4 year old daughter and 14 year old dog.
